FAQs for Phase 4
DO I NEED TRAVEL AND MEDICAL INSURANCE?
All UK citizens are covered under the NHS system in the UK for medical care; however, all other recruits will need medical coverage. All students need their own travel insurance for medical and loss of personal items.
ACCOMMODATIONS – AM I AUTOMATICALLY BOOKED IN?
Yes, you are automatically booked in upon receipt of your signed Training Programme Acceptance and Terms letter and providing you have sent copies of your passport and C1D Visa.
However, please book in as early as you can the day before your Training Date to secure your place.
HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN I TAKE?
Due to various Airline rules, we recommend a maximum weight of 20 kilos. It is better to bring suitcases that can ‘fold’ down as there is very little room in your cabin for storage.
HOW MUCH MONEY WILL I NEED?
During training, please allow enough funds for ‘social expenditure’. Remember, London is very expensive. When you have been given your flight details, you must have enough money to cover any additional expenses such as travel to the airport and hotel (if required), as you know OneSpaWorld will pay for your flight, but you need to get yourself to the airport, and onto the ship.
